A Sydney studio with a tiny floorplan has sold for a very significant sum at auction.
The entire unit at 21/68 Gould Street covers just 17 square metres and sold for $511,000 on December 2. Its major drawcard is the location, just 100 metres from Bondi Beach.
Listing photos reveal a single room with ensuite, with the widest wall measuring 3.7 metres. There is space for a bed and a small dining table.
The property is on the books of Angus Gorrie and Luke Fuller of Ray White Eastern Beaches.
A kitchenette is by the front door, with space for a mini fridge, microwave and two drawers.
There are no photos of the ensuite on the listing and there is no designated car spot.
Agents suggest on the listing that the studio could be an ideal beach pad or investment, with the beach, cafes, eateries and bars in walking distance.

The studio is located in a "quiet position" to the side of a brick complex that's above a perfumery. There is a communal balcony for entertaining.
Bondi Beach is considered one of Australia's most iconic beaches, located in Sydney's eastern suburbs. Domain's latest data reveals the median price for a unit in the area is $1,375,000.
Records show the studio last sold for $96,000 back in November 1996.
