About the CSE Engineering Services Team
The SE College, Engineering Services Team (EST) is a multidisciplinary team of practitioners with capability to engineer systems and equipment in support of teaching and research. Within the team, we have design, development, construction, coding, maintenance, and project management skills.
About the Role
Flinders University is seeking a Technical Support Officer (Mechanical) to provide quality support to researchers, academics and students within the College of Science and Engineering.
Working collaboratively with the Engineering Services Team, the Technical Support Officer (Mechanical) will be required to assist students and staff in their programs of study and research. You will also be required to:
About You
You will have experienced trade skills that will be of value to the multidisciplinary Engineering Services Team, as you demonstrate your excellent hand skills and proven ability to work with metals and plastics. You will have sound experience with engineering tools and machines and will be highly proficient in the use of manual and numerically controlled machining methods suited to specific construction tasks.
