Former Rabbitohs star Sam Burgess secured the settlement on his Little Bay home just ahead of his departure last month back to England to take up the role of coach at the Warrington Wolves – accompanied by his fiancee Lucy Graham and their first child Robbie.
He secured $1.212m for the two-bedroom apartment from local sports remedial massage therapist Joe Dilernia.

Burgess bought the Cawood Ave unit for $955,000 in 2015, three years prior to its 2018 completion.
It had been listed through Martin Farah at NGFarah with a $1.1m to $1.2m guide.
Burgess tried to sell the home in 2018 for $950,000 but, like most off-the-plan acquisitions, had to bide his time before making a profit.
According to PropTrack, the median unit price in Little Bay is $877,500. That’s up seven per cent over the past 12 months.

By coincidence, the first apartment Burgess owned in Sydney was recently resold for $2.125m. It was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom Advanx, Rushcutters Bay apartment, which he bought for $1.075m in 2011 having arrived in 2009 as a teenager renting in Potts Point.
With little understanding of how Sydney ticked, he turned to Rabbitohs owner Russell Crowe as they went cycling around the inner city. He sold in 2016 for $1.8m.
His Maroubra matrimonial home was bought for $3.8m in 2016 with Phoebe Hooke and sold for $5m in 2019.
