This new addition to Dallas’ Design District is a 16-story structure that features 46,000 sq ft of three-dimensional metal lace skin, vibrant interior food and beverage spaces, and 268 modern concept guest rooms. During early construction, the original developer and the driver of this wide-ranging vision died, so for months afterward, the approval and submittal process remained in flux.
The project team faced numerous challenges, from breaking ground with just 50% design documents, starting earthwork alongside structural plan issuance and contending with constant work changes due to an ever-changing structural and architectural vision. Despite these hurdles, the team delivered the project on time.
