FORMER PremiAir Racing team principal Matt Cook has found a new home in the Australian motorsport sector.
V8 Sleuth has learnt Cook has been recruited by Porsche Centre Melbourne, which runs a two-car Carrera Cup Australia program fielding Fabian Coulthard and Courtney Prince.
He effectively replaces ex-Supercars driver Cameron McConville, who had held the position of motorsport commercial manager at PCM.
It’s understood that McConville started in a new job outside of motorsport directly after last month’s Gold Coast 500.
V8 Sleuth’s coverage of the VAILO Adelaide 500 is proudly presented by Bad Boy Mowersexplore the world of Bad Boy Mowers with the new Spring/Summer catalogue of high-performance mowers here.

Cook brings plenty of experience, having worked at now defunct Formula 1 squad Virgin/Marussia in addition to long stints with Dick Johnson Racing and Triple Eight Race Engineering.
PremiAir poached Cook from Triple Eight in May 2022. He finished up with the Peter Xiberras-owned team after this year’s Darwin Triple Crown.
Coulthard is seventh in the Carrera Cup standings despite having missed Round 1, while Prince is 17th.
Max Vidau topped a wet, red flag-shortened Practice 1 in Adelaide this morning.
