The first photos of Culture Kings founders’ Simon and Tah-nee Beard’s renovated Gold Coast mansion have been unveiled and it’s nothing short of jaw-dropping.
Streetwear entrepreneur Mr Beard and his wife — the couple’s wealth was once estimated at $626m in 2021 – snapped up the Surfers Paradise residence for $11.75m in June, 2020.

They also bought the neighbouring property before embarking on a mammoth two-year renovation sparing no expense on the design and build.
“It’s like I’m living in a resort,” said Mr Beard, who recently gave The Oodie founder Davie Fogarty a tour of the property.

Tony Parente of Clamroc Constructions was behind the transformation of the estate, now known as Encore, and has been sharing videos and photos of the end result.
“It literally has hotel vibes, that’s all I can put it down to,” Mr Parente said.
“We went through Covid, the floods and massive price increases through the construction industry so it was a massive challenge bringing this across the line at a sensible price.”
Completed in stages, the house was stripped back to its bones and extended.
The showstopper pool — one of the biggest residential pools in the country — includes sun beds, lounges, palm trees and stepping stones overlooking the main river while inside there is a dedicated room to Mr Beard’s shoe collection.

He said it was great working for Tah-nee and Simon Beard.
“What makes this project even more special is the privilege of building for two of the most humble and inspiring individuals we’ve had the pleasure to meet,” the post said.
“Their unwavering trust in our abilities allowed us to create a home that reflects their unique taste and lifestyle.”
The property was designed by Stuart Osman with help from Nest Landscape Design (landscape design), Carla Rausch Designs (interior design), and Icon Consulting Engineers (engineering).

Mr and Mrs Beard are no strangers to Gold Coast property — the couple paid $15.25m for the Soul penthouse in 2021 while Mr Beard was seen bidding for an Ibiza-inspired beach house at Burleigh Heads earlier this year.
The couple also sold a riverfront property in Ashmore for $4.95m in 2021.
Founded on the Gold Coast in 2008 by Simon and Tah-nee Beard, Culture Kings has carved an international reputation for its streetwear, including brands from all corners of the globe, live DJs and instore barber haircutting and VIP customers including Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown and A$AP Rocky.
