Lander & Rogers this week announced the appointment of new partner Hoda Naghdy to its national real estate & projects practice. Based in Sydney, Ms Naghdy brings more than 15 years of experience advising clients on complex infrastructure projects and transactions in Australia and globally, and will enhance the firm’s rapidly growing construction and infrastructure offering with a focus on renewable energy infrastructure.
Ms Naghdy’s appointment, the firm says, adds depth of strategic legal and commercial expertise for the benefit of its infrastructure clients, as the sector adjusts to the challenges and opportunities of developing and funding Australia’s renewable energy projects.

"It’s an incredibly exciting time to be advising clients in this space, and I look forward to bringing my expertise in structuring, procurement and delivery of major energy projects to Lander & Rogers’ clients and networks."
Ms Naghdy’s recent experience includes advising on a $30 billion renewable energy project exporting power from Australia to Singapore; guiding financial sponsors in their investments in wind and solar projects across Asia; and assisting NSW Government in the implementation of its energy transition roadmap, including a "first to market" renewable energy zone (REZ).

The appointment continues the strong growth of Lander & Rogers’ infrastructure transaction team, which is now a three-partner team in Sydney alone, to continue to support some of Australia’s most significant transactions for both private and government sector clients.
News of Ms Naghdy’s appointment follows a number of significant lateral hires by the firm in the last 12 months, including finance partner Nicola Clayton and insolvency and disputes partner Jonathon Turner.
