Legendary Olympic swimmer Ian Thorpe has listed his Woollahra home in Sydney with a price guide of $3.7 million.
The five-time gold medallist bought the residence in 2017 for $2.75 million, records show, and is now looking to downsize in the blue-chip suburb.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom luxury home is considered the best residence in the boutique security complex of six, given it is located at the back of the building, completely secluded from the main street.
The 216-square-metre home at 6/89 Ocean Street is spread across three levels with a bathroom on each one and prized double parking.
The third bedroom is on the top floor where it can be used as a second living space with another balcony, while the fourth bedroom can be used as a home office.
The solid brick building sits behind a 1860s mansion façade that was transformed into six homes in the 1980s. The home has modern features such as ducted air conditioning and a heated pool and spa.

The property is a short walk to Queen Street village, Edgecliff Station, local restaurants and Trumper Park.
Lead selling agent Courtney Wong of Black Diamondz Property Concierge said it was the perfect home for professional couples and families with older children.
"It's the best one in the building. It's right at the back, and you don't get any noise from the street," Wong said. "It's completely private and secluded. For people who can't afford a house, it is a stepping stone."

Wong said Thorpe wants to downsize in Woollahra.
The first open home inspection is on Saturday, and it is scheduled for auction on Saturday, September 16 at 1pm.
