In the Sunshine State, Lyn Griffiths and Rohan Banning are returning to the network after a stint operating a niche business catering to apartment hunters.
Previously working as agents out of RE/MAX’s Townsville office, the duo launched the central Brisbane-focused business Amazing Apartments in January 2018.
That endeavour has been rolled into a special division headed by Mr Banning within the new RE/MAX Central Residential business, which covers all residential property within Brisbane’s inner-city suburbs.
“While establishing Amazing Apartments as an independent boutique business was an incredible experience and it’s been an excellent business, we felt it’s time to take the business forward,” Ms Griffiths commented on the decision to expand their purview once again.
She described the partnership with RE/MAX as something of a natural fit.
“We are now at a very exciting point. We feel bringing our business into RE/MAX, where we already have an established relationship in a national and global network, is a ‘coming home,’ and RE/MAX is as committed to us as we are to the brand. I think that opens up a world of opportunity for the business and our customers, and it sets us above our competition,” Ms Griffiths said.
Meanwhile, in Sydney, Joseph Choi has launched his Olympic Park business under the RE/MAX banner, bringing his experienced team to the national network.
Covering residential sales, property management and commercial leasing, RE/MAX Prestige serves the Western Sydney suburbs of Olympic Park, Homebush, Strathfield, Lidcombe, Newington, Wentworth Point and Rhodes.
Opening with RE/MAX, he said, felt like the right fit for his team.
“My goal is to provide an excellent environment for my team, to really look after them and help them to grow in business as we assist clients buy and sell locally, anywhere in Australia and overseas,” he said.
RE/MAX Australia’s managing director, Joel Davoren, welcomed the business heads to the network.
“These are three successful and astute business owners who are eager to grow their businesses in exciting directions through being aligned with the RE/MAX brand.
And he hinted that the firm would have more growth to report before the close of 2023.
“RE/MAX continues to attract business owners who have big ambitions for what they want their businesses to achieve,” Mr Davoren said.
