YKK AP America celebrated the opening of its newly expanded commercial and residential design center, Studio 101, on June 22. The architecture, engineering and construction community of Atlanta gathered to celebrate the occasion.
Studio 101 is located at 101 Marietta Street, overlooking Atlanta’s architectural icons in the heart of downtown. It was first launched in 2021, with a core focus on commercial architectural products, and has been expanded to include a wider range of YKK AP residential windows and doors. Additionally, Studio 101 now includes a designated training center, designed to provide customers and partners with hands-on training experiences to ensure proper installation of YKK AP’s entrances, storefront, curtain wall, window wall, window and door products. The training center is also designed as a shared space for the AEC community at large to host their own training. The design center is co-located with YKK AP’s headquarters, which officially relocated from Austell to Atlanta last year.
“Our newly expanded commercial and residential design center and training space brings to life a more creative, collaborative way to work. It illuminates our vision to frame the future by partnering more deeply with customers, partners and with industry as a whole,” says Oliver Stepe, president and CEO, YKK AP America Inc. “It was an honor to be able to celebrate the official opening of this space with the local Atlanta community.”
