Green energy has been tipped to trigger WA’s next major property boom similar in scale to the early 2000s when Perth’s median house price was just $25,000 below that of Sydney.
Driven by the resources boom, Perth’s property values more than doubled within a few years and by early 2007 had reached $440,000, rivalling Sydney’s median of $470,000 recorded at the time by CoreLogic.
