A Sydney home for sale pays tribute to some of the Harbour City's landmark buildings.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom property at 4 Foley Street in Darlinghurst is an 1860s home with fixtures taken from some of Sydney's iconic buildings over the last century.
Agent Zakir Abdallaoui of BresicWhitney Inner East, who holds the listing alongside Maclay Longhurst, tells Nine the property's huge folding glass doors and elevator façade by the courtyard are from the flagship Grace Bros store in the CBD.
Described as a "soulful storyteller of grand old Sydney" by the agents, the home has a price guide of $4 million.
Nine understands the property was once owned by an architect who was involved in the development of some of Sydney's most iconic buildings. The architect incorporated various fixtures, including the huge folding glass doors, into the home's renovations.
The stained glass windows and cast-iron roof supports in the main living area have also been salvaged from Sydney's Central Station.

On a 260-square-metre block, the floorplan reveals a spacious courtyard on the ground floor, a living zone with two bedrooms on the first floor and an additional bedroom and deck on the second floor.
The huge green folding glass doors are by far the statement design detail of the home and tie in nicely with the crisp, whitewashed walls, timber detail and pendant lights.
Interiors also give the illusion of never-ending space with soaring 4.1 metre-high ceilings.
