Award-winning footy journalist Tom Browne is selling his renovated Prahran house.
Award-winning sports journalist Tom Browne is selling up in Prahran following his shock resignation from Channel 7.
Browne has broken some of the biggest stories in the AFL over his more than 12 years with the network, recently revealing the sacking of Gold Coast coach Stuart Dew.
The high-profile reporter has listed the three bedroom home he and wife Tara have shared for nearly 10 years as he gears up for his new gig in Sydney.

Browne announced in July he was resigning from Channel 7 and Triple M to take a role at Sydney Swans chairman Andrew Pridham’s MA Financial Group.
His departure from both networks is not expected until after the 2023 premiership season.
Browne is also the son of Collingwood president Jeff Browne, who is the non-executive director and independent chairman of the MA Financial Group where his son will soon work.
PropTrack records show he and his wife, Tara, purchased the 44 Perth St pad in 2015 for $1,352,500.
The home opens out at the facade to a cobblestone courtyard.
It received a stylish renovation after Browne and his wife purchased it in 2015.
The couple welcomed their second child earlier this year.
They have extensively renovated the home since.
The couple, who welcomed the birth of their second child in March, had planned to move to Melbourne’s Bayside area in 2021 and listed the home at that time for $2.6m-$2.8m.
But it was pulled from the market in December last year after lingering for nearly 600 days.

Now, the glamorous home has hit the market again with a $500,000 price cut as the young family prepares for their interstate move.
They now have $2.1m-$2.3m price expectations ahead of its auction, scheduled for 11am on Saturday.
The main bedroom comes with a glamorous marble ensuite.
It still retains some period features such as old fireplaces.
Jellis Craig Stonnington director Nathan Waterson said Browne had enjoyed the convenience of the property’s location near Greville and Chapel Streets.
“He had easy access to where he worked and things like the football … being near the heart of South Yarra has been a highlight for him and Tara,” Mr Waterson said.
“It’s a beautifully renovated home.”
He added that young professionals had taken an interest in the listing and were expected to bid at the Saturday auction.
The double-fronted home’s 123-year-old facade conceals a stylish interior, featuring a light-filled, open-plan living area leading out to a courtyard at the rear.
The kitchen is complete with Carrara marble benchtops, Miele appliances and an integrated Liebherr fridge.
Browne and his wife listed the home in 2021 but pulled it from the market last year.

It joins two bedrooms and a marble-draped central bathroom on the ground floor.
As part of the renovation, a second storey added the spacious main bedroom as well as its adjoining walk-in wardrobe and dual-vanity ensuite.
“It has all the lifestyle things you’d need or want around Greville St and Chapel St,” Mr Waterson added.
The Channel 7 chief football reporter was originally a lawyer from 2006-2009 before making a career shift to football journalism.
He is one of the most prolific media figures in the AFL and was awarded the Best TV/Radio/online news reporter award at the Football Media Association Awards in 2019.
