It's all about angles and perspective for a Melbourne home that's hit the market.
The property at 114 Separation Street in Northcote is called the Mohawk House and was designed to appear different depending on which side one views it from.
Architect Ben Statkus explains on his company website how the house "could potentially offer differing visual experiences depending on the direction of travel".
The home, which has an auction guide of $1.95 million to $2.1 million, has a sculptural, external staircase on one side that leads to the rooftop terrace.
Statkus adds that the home could appear to some as being "more flamboyant" from one direction and "more subdued" from another.
Behind a white picket fence lies a sleek, grey masterpiece with an angular roofline and black accents.
The home contains three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and has space to entertain with the rooftop terrace, rear garden and open-plan kitchen and dining zone.

An external staircase not only presents itself as a work of art, but also allows one to access the entertaining zone without having to step foot inside the main interior space.
Design details of note also include the polished concrete floors, sky-lit ceilings and pendant lights.
A neutral palette and floor-to-ceiling glass windows complement the grey exterior tone.
