Chris Stoll, a former program director of RMP West for Babcock, brings nearly 20 years of experience to the role in the defence and commercial marine and infrastructure sectors, as the company pushes for strategic initiatives and development.
He also brings experience from establishing the operations for the Royal Australian Navy’s new maritime sustainment model, as well as knowledge from senior program and engineering roles with BAE and Austal.
“I am delighted to join Griffin at this stage of its development,” Stoll said.
“I look forward to working with the talented team here and contributing to the company’s vision of delivering unparalleled service and value to our clients.”
The Royal Australian Navy veteran also brings sustainment, management, and strategic planning expertise with a bachelors in mechanical engineering from the University of NSW and a masters of engineering from the University of Maryland.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chris to our team,” according to Griffin director Michael Sertorio.
“His experience, relationships, and leadership skills are a great addition to continue our journey towards becoming the most trusted provider in the industry.
“We are confident that under Chris’s guidance, Griffin will achieve new heights of success.
“Chris’ knowledge and experience of NSSG’s Maritime Sustainment Model, garnered from establishing and leading one of the first regional maintenance providers in the nation, coupled with Griffin’s established presence in all four regional maintenance locations, is an exciting synergy that we are excited to explore.”
The company has announced plans to move forward under the leadership of new general manager Chris Stoll and the management team, after almost 10 years ago under original owner and directors Martyn Stroud and Troy Ranford.
