About the Role
The Research Fellow will work on the development of new nano-optical devices and their integration into optical systems. The role includes designing and simulating meta-optical devices, nanofabrication, and developing methods for optical and electrical characterization. The position is within the ARC Centre of Excellence in Transformative Meta-Optical Systems, which aims to create innovative optics-based technologies. The center emphasizes diversity and inclusiveness and offers support for members with caregiving responsibilities. It fosters a collaborative and interdisciplinary culture, offering mentorship and skill development opportunities.
The successful candidate will conduct independent research and publish their findings and will be part of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, collaborating with researchers from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology and the School of Physics in the Faculty of Science. The Research Fellow will also work on various center projects and collaborate with researchers from partner institutions.
