Macquarie University, has maintained a significant presence in semiconductor education and research across many decades, including Macquarie Analog Devices Laboratory ‘MADLaB’ a team of 12 professional engineers working on design and test of VHF devices for many local and international companies. It has world-class test and measurement facilities ($xm infrastructure)

About Us
You will be joining a growing School of Engineering in the Faculty of Science and Engineering and substantial new hiring. The School of Engineering is currently the home of 50 academic staff and more than 70 research students, and an ever-growing cohort of undergraduates and postgraduate coursework students. The School offers a broad range of innovative undergraduate and postgraduate courses and enjoys a strong research ethos.
The School of Engineering was established more than a decade ago to focus on research and education in the area of electronics. Since then, our focus has expanded to other fields of engineering, including civil, electrical, mechatronics, materials and mechanical, and biomedical engineering.
Engineering is one of the key priorities of the University and accordingly significant investment is being made. An Engineering precinct worth over $160M is currently under development. The School also works closely with the Australian Astronomical Optics (AAO), a recognised world leader in innovative astronomical instrumentation, software and research.
