An A-list approved property in rural Victoria could be yours.
The six-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 334 Gentle Road in Gundowring is for sale and is the former home of Mel Gibson.
As stated on the listing, the Oscar-winning actor and director lived in the property in the 1980s before eventually selling to the current owners in 2016. Domain's property history reveals the home sold for $830,000 at the time.
Called Carinya Homestead, the property has a sale deadline of October 11. Nine has reached out to agent John Honeychurch of Corcoran Parker for a price guide.
Situated on just over 21 hectares, the property is described on the listing as Gibson's "former riverside retreat" and it's easy to understand why.
Gundowring is a peaceful locale in north-east Victoria, 331km from Melbourne's CBD. The property has multiple verandahs and a deck offering views across the Kiewa River.
The rural town has a population of just 222, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
It's understood Gibson and his ex-wife Robyn Moore lived in the two-storey property with their six children back in the 1980s.

The listing states that the Gibson family "extensively renovated the home" during that time. Since purchasing in 2016, the current owners turned it into a popular B&B.
Interiors of the red brick home feature checkerboard floors and intricate tilework in the kitchen, wood-panelled ceilings, floral carpet and timber-frame doors.
There are also multiple sheds and steel cattle yards on the property.
Gibson is known for his roles in blockbuster films such as What Women Want, Braveheart and Lethal Weapon.
Born in New York, he moved to Sydney with his family at age 12.
The property is on the books of John Honeychurch, Mat Jhonston and Mike Weller of Corcoran Parker.
