Guyana issues call for power transmission EPC of gas to energy project – BNamericas English

1. The Government of Guyana / Office of Prime Minister (OPM) hereinafter referred to as “the Procuring Entity”, invites interested Applicants to submit proposals for the provision of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Services for the Installation of Transmission Lines and Substations for the integration of the new 300 MWe CCGT Power Plant. The Project includes: 
 TRANSMISSION LINES 
o Double-circuit 230kV Transmission Line 300 MW GTE Project Site to Demerara River
o Double-circuit 230kVTransmission Line in HDD across Demerara River
o Double-circuit 230 kV Transmission Line in UG Trench (Conduit ) from Eastern Bank of Demerara River HDD to Amaila Falls corridor at Garden of Eden
o Double-circuit 230kV GPP Transmission Line from Amaila Falls corridor at Garden of Eden to Goedverwagting Substation
o Three single-circuit 69kV transmission lines from 300 MW GTE Site to Wales Industrial Substation, located close to 300 MWGTE Site
o Double-circuit 69kV transmission line from Wales Industrial Substation to Wales Commercial / Residential Substation
o Upgrade existing 69kV L2 transmission line from existing Golden Grove Substation to connect to new Goedverwagting Substation
o Upgrade existing 69kV L4 transmission line from existing Golden Grove Substation to connect to new Goedverwagting Substation
o Upgrade existing 69kV L2 transmission line from new Goedverwagting Substation to existing Old Sophia Substation
o Upgrade existing 69kV L4 transmission line from new Goedverwagting Substation to existing New Sophia Substation
o 69 kV transmission line from Wales Residential/ Commercial Substation to Vreed en Hoop Substation (east route)
o 69 kV transmission line from Wales Residential/ Commercial Sub to Vreed en Hoop Substation (west route)
 SUBSTATIONS
o 230kVGoedverwagting Substation ending at 13.8kVtake-off structure
o 69kV Wales Residential/ Commercial Substation ending at the 13.8kV take-off structure
o Improvements (bay expansion) at Vreed-en-Hoop Substation incl. relocation of 13.8 kVand 69 kVtowers
o 69kV Wales Industrial Substation located at 300 MW GTE Project Site ending at 13.8kVtake-off structure
2. The RFP documents may be examined by any interested bidder; and can be obtained by email at jmckenzie@nre.gov.gy or from the following address:

3. All bidders should submit their Proposals together with an original Proposal security in the fixed amount of US$4,000,000.00 not later than 9:00 hrs. on Tuesday January 31, 2023, into the Tender Box (1) below:

4. All late proposals shall be rejected and returned to bidders unopened.
5. Proposals should be valid for six (6) months from the deadline for submission of Proposals.
6. Proposals shall be opened by the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who wish to attend, at 9:00 hrs. Tuesday January 31, 2023 at the address (1) or may request a video link from npta.procurement@finance.gov.gy.
