A man has been charged with the murder of a woman found dead at a home in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to a home on Brighton Street, Greystanes, following reports of a domestic violence-related incident just before 1am on Saturday.
Police found the body of a woman inside the home. She is yet to be formally identified, but authorities say she was aged in her 30s.
The 28-year-old man was arrested at the property and taken to Granville police station to assist officers with their inquiries. The pair were in a relationship.
A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic police. The man has since been charged with murder (domestic violence) and he was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
