A new subdivision with 65 lots may be coming soon to Ferry Pass, according to documents filed with Escambia County’s Development Review Committee.
Planning and development for the Meadow Brook Village subdivision project has been underway for at least a year.
The project’s final plat submission was discussed by Escambia County’s Development Review Committee on Sept. 6. Construction plans for Meadow Brook Village were previously approved in July 2022 and the project’s owners believe it will be official on Nov. 2. The owners say that the subdivision’s infrastructure, such as sewage and water, have already been finished.
The owners of the development plan to sell the lots to a home-building company, who will then build the townhomes on each lot.
Here’s what we know about the possible residential development coming to Ferry Pass.

Meadow Brook Village will be a new residential subdivision with 65 townhomes on nearly 6 acres. The project splits the neighborhood into three different blocks, A, B and C, and will construct a new road through the subdivision, according to the project’s proposed site plan.
This new road, named Meadow Brook Lane, will end in a cul-de-sac in the back of the subdivision and connect Meadow Brook Village to Jojo Road. Meadow Brook Lane has already been built, according to the owners.
According to the project’s information form filed with Escambia County, Meadow Brook Village will be located at 8825 Chisholm Road. The parcel for the development is approximately 5.98 acres.
Documents filed with Escambia County show that Meadow Brook Village is owned by Jojo Development LLC, who are based out of Gulf Breeze. Jojo Development LLC bought the land for the development for $425,000 in August 2021.
Rebol-Battle and Associates, a civil engineering firm working on many developments across Escambia County, is listed as the civil engineer for Meadow Brook Village.
