Buyers seeking a slice of multi award-winning community urged not to wait
Frasers Property Australia has released the final award-winning ‘mews’ style townhomes at its game changing Ed.Square community in south-west Sydney.
The ‘mews’ designs, part of the Brooklyn townhomes collection, are unlike anything else in Sydney and form the last townhomes scheduled for release at Ed.Square until early to mid-2023.
Ed.Square’s exclusive ‘mews’ style Brooklyn townhomes were a finalist in Excellence in Sustainability and Environmental Technology at last year’s Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) NSW Crown Group Awards for Excellence.
They feature unique designs and premium fixtures, face pedestrian-orientated streets and are an easy stroll to Ed.Square Town Centre, train station, future school, parks, and other leisure facilities. Each home is in close proximity to communal landscaped gardens and public areas that provide a seamless extension of residents’ yards.
Many of these Brooklyn townhomes currently looking for a new owner come with an additional study. Twelve are off-the-plan townhomes, while the completed three-bedroom, three-bathroom ex-display home named Dakota is also available to purchase.
Matthew van Rijswijk, Development Director, Frasers Property Australia says the popularity of Ed.Square with its diverse housing and settlement options, connectivity of Edmondson Park train station and the convenient lifestyle provided by the Town Centre have seen demand for new homes outstrip supply.
“We have had a tremendous response from buyers to each new homes release, including the townhomes – which are ideal for growing families, professional couples and anyone looking to downsize from large maintenance-intensive blocks without sacrificing living space,” says Mr van Rijswijk.
“This current release is the last collection of townhomes of this kind and is the final chance for interested buyers to move into Ed.Square as early as 2024. So interested buyers simply can’t sit on their hands, because once these homes are snapped up, it will be a long time before they can move into this thriving community.”
New residents can immerse themselves in the vibrant Ed.Square community from day one, to enjoy amenities like the exclusive community park with children’s playground, barbeque facilities, waterplay area and more. The homes are only a short walk to central and regional parklands, walkways and cycleways, and the train station too.
The brand-new Community Centre, which opened earlier this year, offers a packed schedule of lively events and activities aimed at helping residents connect with their neighbours in the close-knit community.
“Nowhere else in Sydney can you find such quality of life, connectivity, and amenity all in one place. Ed is alive and the place to be,” says Mr van Rijswijk.
The sense of community and walkability to all amenities were behind Kim and Khuong Chau’s decision to buy their first home at Ed.Square.
The couple moved into their brand-new Franklin townhome a year ago, and quickly fell in love with their new surrounds and neighbours.
“We can feel that the community is very welcoming,” Kim says.
“We love how everything is so close to our home and within walking distance here. There is the Town Centre and then there’s the train station, which is really convenient. We haven’t had to use our cars as much as we used to since we moved here.”
Kim adds: “We particularly like the Eat Street. There is a selection of everything, and we just love the variety of food here – all within a five-minute walk from our home.”
In the two years since its first residents arrived, Ed.Square has grown to a community of 1,500 people relishing convenient, connected living. Residents enjoy easy access to Edmondson Park train station, regional parklands and Ed.Square Town Centre, which includes Coles, Event Cinemas, a Service NSW centre, iPlay and the increasingly popular Eat Street with over 20 different alfresco and other dining options.
Prices for Brooklyn townhomes start from $650,000 for the one-bedroom, single bathroom Franklin home up to $1,015,000 for the three-bedroom Madison homes, which also have 2.5 bathrooms and a separate study. The Dakota ex-display home is for sale at $955,000.
The new Ed.Square sales centre in Ed.Square Town Centre began welcoming visitors in August and is open daily from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Interested buyers can also book an appointment by contacting Frasers Property on 13 38 38 or visiting www.EdSquare.com.au.
