A man has been charged with domestic violence and property-related offences after allegedly driving a bobcat utility vehicle into another man in NSW’s Riverina region.
The man was reportedly injured about 12.30pm on Thursday at a home on Iandra St, Young.
Police said the men, aged 59 and 38 and who are known to each other, became involved in a verbal argument, before the older man got in the nearby bobcat and allegedly drove it at the younger man, hitting him in the arm with it.

Police said the older man then drove the small vehicle through a closed roller door and into a number of walls and equipment before heading through the property’s front gates.
The younger man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Young Hospital in a stable condition.
The 59-year-old man was arrested at Young Police Station just before 8.30am on Friday.
He was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (domestic violence), destroy or damage property, and using an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear in Young Local Court on Wednesday October 12, 2022.
